Holiday Travels ~Christmas with Family

Hubby and I were up early to catch the first flight out…
My alarm went off at 4 a.m.
Do I look tired here?!

Jack and his Daddy came to meet us at the airport.
Mama had dinner ready when we got to the house.
We soon settled down for a little TV before bedtime.

We were traveling East so we experienced an
amazing sunrise above the clouds.

Those clouds were hiding the sun when we got to Minneapolis.

And just what were Jack and Gigi watching?
StoryBots... I learn something new every single time
we visit Jack and his little brother.

Aunt Emily and Uncle Jake arrived later that evening
and surprised the boys the following morning.

Hugs for everyone.

There was another surprise the following morning…
The first snowfall of the season.

Emily and Jake’s visit was short, as they had another
commitment with family in the city.
Hubby and I drove them to Hartford to make the connection.
We enjoyed lunch together at BarTaco.

A little shopping got us in the Holiday Spirit.
There were some charming little boutiques in the area.

The Crate and Barrel never disappoints.

The Hartford Union Station opened in 1889.
It is a well preserved Historical Building.

It is quite reasonable to take the Amtrak into New York City.

It was time to say goodbye.

I have fond memories of riding the train
when I was a little girl.
It’s a wonderful way to travel.

Take care,
~Natalie
