When our Daughter called on us to help provide
childcare, we started making plans.
The invitation included Family, the Beach, Golf,
New England Cuisine, and Fall Foliage.
Emily is Development Events Manager for the Jett Foundation,
a non-profit which empowers people and families impacted
by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
The Jett Golf Classic is their annual Fundraising Event.
Emily needed to spend a week In Plymouth, MA,
to prepare for the event.
That invitation hooked us at Granddaughter, House on the Beach,
and Hubby was all in when our Son-in-Law asked him to round out
a team to participate in the Tournament.
We were up early to see Mama off to work.
Then Papa and Dada left shortly after.
It was beautiful day for a morning walk.
A little breezy, but the warm sunshine was so relaxing.
Maybe a little too breezy to walk down to the beach…
Besides Jojo was taking a little cat nap.
We lunched on leftover pork loin, cheese,
broccoli, and strawberries.
“All gone”
Mama said we could have a little Screen Time.
Meanwhile, at the Pine Hills Country Club,
the golfers were coming in off the course to Happy Hour,
Appetizers, and a Silent Auction.
Later, inside the Clubhouse,
they enjoyed a delicious buffet for dinner.
Their evening concluded with a Live Auction to raise additional funds
for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy families.
This Gigi was enjoying the late afternoon with
her little Beach Baby.
A large flat rock provided the perfect perch for us to sit
and watch the waves and the birds.
The ocean waves were rough,
but we held hands and still went for a walk.
Pants wet to the knees + Sand in the shoes =
A Good Day on the Beach.
Take care,
~Natalie
