We all looked forward to eating Fresh Seafood on our
New England Autumn Adventure.
The Cabby Shack was perfect.
Just as I imagined, right next to the
Plymouth Harbor with a view of the water.
The Clam Chowdah is “World Famous”
We got there with the early crowd
and by the time we left the place was hoppin.
“Awarded winning, thick, creamy and homemade”
Indeed, it was.
And also Toddler-Approved.
Our dinner was delicious and a great start
to our week of Seafood Eats.
Just when I thought the Clam Chowdah couldn’t be beat,
we lunched on Lobster Rolls from a Food Truck at The Pine Hills.
That roll was soft and buttery, the lettuce was crisp,
and the lobster was perfect.
How about sharing the Crab Cake appetizers?
Hubby had to have the Mussels on our day trip to Chatham.
Last but not least, one of the last evenings,
we immersed ourselves in the entire lobster experience,
starting with the Live Lobster tank in the Market.
Our Fishmonger was entertaining and knew just how to
handle those marine crustaceans.
A healthy lobster is firm and active.
So take home the most feisty guys in the tank.
Our son-in-law took charge of the lobsters while
the rest of us prepared the side dishes…
potatoes, grilled corn on the cob, and green salad.
What a treat for these Landlocked Retired Empty Nesters!
Making Sweet Memories
Take care,
~Natalie
