With our AirBnB only four houses from the beach,
this was the perfect opportunity to experience a sunrise over the ocean.
We set our alarm for a little before 6 o’clock
then left the house just as it started to get light in the East.
There’s our familiar boardwalk to get down
to the sand and water.
Yes, I did take the time to brew a little coffee.
We waited patiently for 20 minutes before
we saw the sun peek over the horizon.
Sixty-seven years old and my first sunrise on the beach.
It was spectacular.
The water was calm. There was a gentle breeze.
The colors in the sky were brilliant.
Just think, the folks that live here can enjoy this beauty,
with their cup of coffee, every..single..morning.
A dream vacation, indeed…Making sweet memories.
