Warm Winter Wear ~Looking for a New Home ~Inexpensive Coats ~A Few For Free ~and a Little History Lesson ~Friday’s Fabulous Finds

Now that we have your attention,
Keep on Scrolling as Gigi has cleaned out three closets
and has a dozen winter coats and jackets that she needs to rehome.

Size M
The fleece-lined hood can be unzipped to lie flat.
The fur trim on the hood can be removed.
The zipper doesn’t work, but there is a button closure.

This is a really warm coat, in really good shape.

This is also a really warm coat.
If you an Elementary Teacher with Playground duty,
You may appreciate having either of these red coats at school
just for those frigid January days that are in store for us.

Lots of fun details on this Zip-up, Hooded jacket.

The fur is detachable.
This jacket was well loved and has a few spots.
 I did wash it using a pre-wash spray.
Still plenty of wear left.

This all-weather coat has a zip-out flannel lining.
Has been in a storage tub, so quite wrinkled.
I will wash it today, and hopefully it will look as good as new.

Also wrinkled from being in Storage.

Handmade Jacket from a Frostline Kit

Frostline was a Colorado based company founded in the late 60s.
When I started teaching in 1978, I was passionate about
 sharing my love of Clothing Construction.

My students ordered kits for all styles of outdoor gear.
The pkg included everything they needed,
 fabrics, thread, zippers, snaps, and the down filling.
Does anyone else remember?
