Hey, Blog friends, I just have to show someone...Hubby is at work, girls are away at college, and I'm not going to take my 89 year old mother up the ladder...but, his week I have been cleaning the garage and the attic. I know, it is the hottest week of the summer, but I am determined to get this done. Some of these boxes have been here since we moved to this house. I have found my wedding planning book, wedding cards and dried bridal bouquet. I found children's toys and toddler's clothing. I found my dad's old neckties, hubby's old golf shoes, my high school yearbooks, sewing and crafting supplies, my grandma's old dishes, books, photo albums and lots of keepsakes.
I have donated 22 bags of stuff to the second-hand store and hubby has taken 2 loads to the dump. But...today, I made it through the boxes to the back wall of the attic. I still have plenty to do...so back to work...

Oh gosh I bet you feel wonderful!!Job well done!!
Doesn't it always make you feel great to get a big job like that done? I'm sure as you were going through things, you were wondering why on earth you kept it!! Good for you. Have a restful weekend.

WOW! what an accomplishment. It must feel like a sauna up there, but good work. You are doing your spring cleaning early. (or possibly late??)
be careful up there.
Good for you! I have a plan to dejunk my house this fall. Our basement is full of boxes and I don't even know what's in them anymore. That's what happens when you live in the same house for 36 years! Great job!!
It must feel great to be getting so organized. I love a good junk purge every now and then!
Wow! Great work! I miss having an attic. I try to keep my basement clutter free, but I think strangers sneak over in the night and put stuff down there. LOL!
Great job dejunking, Natalie!
Isn't it funny how protective we are of our stuff? I am also guilty of boxing stuff for later use only to donate it or throw it away. Most times I wonder why I thought things were so important I had to shove them in a box and hide them.
Have a great weekend.
Wow!!!!Thats great, don't you feel accomplished? Now your ready for the holidays to begin right-lol

Congrats to the progression with your projects. I went to your Etsy shop and we think your Seed Bag Minis are really cute. It looks like you have a great supply of holiday crafts too. In anticipation for the holidays, and before that time gets scheduled, would you like to host a giveaway on www.TodaysGiveAway.net?

You are a trooper! It looks great. What a big job, but I'll bet it feels wonderful to get it done. My loft storage in the workshop building is waiting for this job to be done too! But I'm waiting until cooler weather!
I'm impressed!
I worked on my garage this weekend. It was like Christmas, I found treasures that I'd forgotten that I had!
Wow, what a fab job you did!!!! I'll bet that feels great!
