Places to Go...Things to Do...People to Meet...

Line and I went to see our school...on the inside...
We are very lucky to have a new building. This will be our 5th year here. Wouldn't you know they were waxing the floors in the academic wing so we couldn't go there. But we did look at the arena, the weight room, the gymnastics gym, the music area and the theatre. Plus the principals were in a meeting, so she couldn't meet them either, but met two office secretaries and the registrar. Actually, those three women probably run the school anyway...so I'm glad she met them first!

We picked up all the necessary paperwork to try out for soccer. Line's mom is also sending some with necessary signatures.

This week girls are attending a 'Pre-Season Camp'. It was raining when we dropped her off, so all the girls were in the storage garage for shelter. The girls practiced on the grass field last night...the boys team had the turf. Tonight, I think they will switch and the girls get the playing field. I hope I can get a picture so you can see our awesome facility.

And what did I do while Line was having fun at soccer? Well, not everyone was getting along at home...so I had to step in and supervise here.

I was also anxious to get into my sewing room. My blog friend, Mary, shared a pattern for this sweet little fabric pouch. I adjusted the size to make a petite pouch...sized for a cell phone, camara, shopping punch cards, jewelry, or make-up. No two are exactly the same, but they are coordinating and are perfect for one's purse or suitcase.

Awesome little bags and we are BIG soccer fans. Both of our boys played in high school and one played through college. We loved it!
