Things in my Classroom...
Since the girls were young, they have helped me prepare my classroom for the coming school year. Today, Emily curled the tape for all of my posters. I feel so much better when my classroom is ready for students.
She is in Vegas as one of her best friends is getting married there today. Best wishes to the bride, Shannon!
And Line...
Soccer try-outs concluded this week and she made the team. Now...she is a busy girl. They are having two-a day practices...one at 6 a.m. and one at 5 p.m...the professional team photo...an inter-squad scrimmage...a team pizza party...and a team-bonding over-night camp-out...all just this weekend...

I thought that was a picture of my Muffin when I saw the picture. What a pretty picture.
Happy Friday =)
If I was that fish, I'd be a little nervous. Muffins certainly has her eye on him! So cute. Sounds like things are gearing up for the school year -- always an exciting time!
That is such a funny picture of your cat and fish! I have a small cat that my son brought home and she would probably go in to see the fish eye to eye! After all she is the curtain swinger in the family and would do ANYTHING once!LOL
I can't believe school is about to begin. I remember helping my mother get ready every school year and would help her set up her room and put up bulletin boards. When I got my degree as a teacher I ended up doing that for the people I substitute taught for! Never got a classroom of my own, however! Those were good times!
Have a great year and hope your class is top knotch! Deb
I think I may relocate that enticing fish dinner.
My girls used to help me set up my classroom too!
Your room looks so clean and bright. I will be doing this in about 2 weeks. It is so much fun.
