Top of the Morning, Central Volleyball News & Tuesday's Tip of the Day

We are having the most beautiful weather...our Indian Summer. Once again, I enjoyed this beautiful sunrise during my morning commute.

The Central Volleyball team won our conference and the district play-offs and is now on their way to the State Tournament. Just days ago, I reported that our football team is going to state...what a great year for our athletes!
Congratulations, Golden Eagles!!

Tuesday's Tip of the Day
Our newspaper is delivered in this little plastic sleeve...every...single...day. This is much appreciated. It keeps all the newspaper inserts together and it keeps the newspaper dry when it is raining or snowing.
But what does one do with all those empty plastic sleeves??
My drawer is overflowing...

Well, for one...my thermos fits perfectly inside. Just once, my thermos leaked in my school bag...just a little, and some papers got wet... While they weren't important papers, it would be very unprofessional to return student papers with coffee stains.
Anyway, I'm sure I'm not the only person who receives a nifty plastic sleeve every day.
I'd love to hear what you do with yours~

We use them for food garbage that we don't want to leak in the trash can.

congrats to your school teams. I love watching volleyball!
We get 2 of these plastic bags daily...you know how I feel about plastic!!! I collect about a weeks worth, then I put them in my recycle bin, they are 100% recyclable. :)
But I don't throw them in individually, for fear that they will somehow get lose and fly away.

As a clothing painter, I find the newpaper bags work perfectly for stuffing with a paperback book or two and using these inside a pants leg or sleeve on a child's outfit while painting.

I would probably use them to hold all the little presents from the cat litter box...lol.

Don't forget I am hosting Giftaways between now and Christmas so pop in when you can :)
