Our kids were back last Thursday and even though I worked all summer...the return of kids and teachers makes my job a whole different thing. :)

Summer went flying by this year! I remember as a kid the only time that seemed to fly by was summer, otherwise it took forever for the year to pass...now as an older person, the days, weeks, and months just seem to fly by!

Boy it sure went by fast, didn't it?!? We start up on Sept. 6th and I just can't believe we only have a week of vacation left.

Since I don't have children in school anymore I don't notice the length of the summer, but my daughter was ready for them to start to get some routine back in their lives. :)
I was driving home this morning and noticed a number of the trees are beginning to turn and I was thinking another summer over, than was thinking about you getting close to going back to school!! Hope you have a wonderful new year ahead!!

I'm not sure where summer went to....but I think it may have run over the flowers on the way out....they are looking kind of....well crispy and flat......

I know, so sad another summer has slowly disappeared! School has been in session for three weeks for us so we are settling into the fall routine of football, pumpkins, and bonfires.
