Where the Weekend Went and a Recipe for Chocolate Cheesecake

A Father's Day Celebration calls for our family's favorite dessert.
Emily prepared the German Chocolate Cheesecake for her dad,
while he was enjoying the afternoon on the golf course.

This dessert is light and refreshing...
and you don't have to turn on your oven and heat up your kitchen!

It was the absolute, most perfect weather for our Summer Arts Festival.
We went both days!
The water balloon yo-yos are always a hit with the children...
we had to try one...for old times sake...
The food ally is always popular.

And finally...
Who could walk past the pet store without going in?

This little puppy was so warm and cuddly.
I loved her plump little belly.

It was hard to put her back in the cage...
but if we brought her home,
we have two faithful cats that would never speak to us again!

Take care,
~Natalie

The art festival looks like so much fun; so glad your weather is good for outdoor activities now.
I hope your hubby had the perfect fathers day!
