Happy Mother’s Day to All who Nurture and Care for Children

This was Mother’s Day 2012
It was the last Mother’s Day before my Mother died.
What made it even more special was that our daughters traveled
so we all could be together. Both had graduated from college.
Amy came from Rochester, MN. Emily lived in Fargo, ND.

It was tradition for us to celebrate Mother’s Day together,
either with Grammy on the Farm…

…or here at our house.
Weather permitting, we posed for a photo in front of
the “pink tree” in our backyard, wearing orchid
corsages on our handmade dresses.

Yeah, that photo tells a story.

And now, my mother watches over us from her heavenly home.
We are so proud of our daughters and
the amazing mothers that they have become.

Sending Best Wishes across the miles
for a wonderful day with those precious children.

Here, at home, I have enjoyed FaceTime calls with both
daughters and four grandchildren, a handmade card, and packages.

I love this…
GIGI is my favorite name.
This is my new favorite pillow.

We are fortunate to have Hubby’s Mother in our lives.
We are planning to have dinner with Great Grandma this evening.

I hope you are spending time today
with someone you love.

Take care,
~Natalie

This past week, my newsfeed was filled with first day of school photos. I loved seeing all the smiling faces… on both students and teachers....
