Monday Mail Call and Where the Weekend Went

A package arrived...just in time for Easter.
It was my PAFA team Easter Basket Swap

It had been a stress filled day of standardized testing at school,
so a friendly package was a bright spot in my day.

My sweet little Easter basket
was filled with candy and a handmade prim egg...
...made from a vintage quilt.

...And is that bunny real chocolate??

Sure looks like it!

Thank you, Valerie.
I am just delighted!

Was the Easter Bunny good to you?

Seems that bunny finds us, no matter how far we travel!

We spent the weekend with Mom and Grammy at her Assisted Living Facility.
We went for a drive to look at the water,
and dyed Easter Eggs in the Activity Room.

Several residents had guests for Easter dinner and were seated in small groups in the activity room.
She really enjoyed having us with her for the holiday.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Take care,
~Natalie

Things in my House Thursday ~ My Spring Tablescape

Do you remember my little chickies?
Last year...in the supermarket...on sale...
I just couldn't resist.
I purchased several...and sent some of them away away in a blog swap.
The others remain here in my spring tablescape.
Enjoy the fresh air and warm sunshine of spring!

Take care,
~Natalie

Monday Mail Call ~ Secret Sister Revealed

My Christmas package arrived... I could hardly stand the suspense...
My Secret Sister has been sending me goodies since last March.

Always packaged to prim perfection,
with tissue and twine!

Now... I know she is a busy mom...
but takes the time to make hand stitched goodies.

Prim Dollie, Snowman's Hat...

Even a handmade paper pouch for chocolates.
(With a reusable shopping bag...how does she know me so well?)

The highlight was this handmade snowman.
In his right hand a prim Christmas tree...

And in his left hand,
a prim Christmas stocking...

I think I am in love!

Thank you, Allison.

Isn't he just adorable?!

Take care,
~Natalie

Happy Halloween...Monday Mail Call...College Game Day Report...

I hope you are all having a spooky good time tonight.

Check out the size of this package that arrived
while we were out of town this weekend.
It was from my PAFA team swap partner...

The most fabulous Halloween cat was inside...
I just love...love...love her!

She just made herself right at home on my dining room table.

Where the Weekend Went...
 and College Game Day Report.
Hubby and I spent the weekend visiting Emily.
We had tickets for "the game"...
#3 Bison vs. #2 Panthers

It was a beautiful autumn day...no one was in the bus...
everyone was outside.
Feed the Stampede...
Tailgaters...raising money for scholarships.

Did you notice the jack o' lantern on the table above?
This is what it looks like all lit up!

It was a 'sold-out' crowd...
fans of all ages showed up for the game.

The Marching Band Pregame Show...
The Thundering Herd...
The student section, all wearing gold...
The teams take the field...

The game was intense...
The fans were LOUD...

...and the outcome?
#3 Bison over the #2 Panthers
27 - 19

If anyone else is keeping track...
that makes our Bison
8 - 0

Meanwhile...here at home...

Happy Halloween!!
Take care,
~Natalie
