We get to Minneapolis and the Mall of America once or twice a year...what a great concept for families that need a central place to gather for a vacation. There is something for everyone here. Our college girls were lucky to have spring break at the same time, even tho' they go to school in different states. They spent the week here...resting, relaxing and recreational shopping.

Oh my goodness! That place is HUGE. Yes, I agree....that is a shoppers paradise.
(By the way this is Debra from Needlesfabriandthead)
We enjoyed our visit to the mall several years ago while vacationing in that region of the US & Canada. So much fun!
I took a weekend trip with my mom a few years ago to go to this mall. We stayed over for three nights and brought home a lot of shopping bags. Those were the good old days before my kids took all my money.
Oh....now they go back to school....but soon it will be summer break, right?! I hate seeing son #1 leave....but when he is home he EATS everything and I think forgets the RULES of housekeeping! Someday I hope to see that mall....someday....
I get tired just looking at the picture of the mall! Why was your break only two days?
I have never been there...but my brother-in-law ages ago worked for Delta and he would lfy there for the day to shop...and friends from Canada go there to vacation- and shop!
...2 day break? Bummer....but you used it well!
visiting the mall is fun, but I never BUY anything!! I drink coffee, people watch, stroll and window shop. Then usually head to the rainforest cafe to eat. But watching the people is the best part!
I've heard a lot about it but never been myself.....my kids will be on SB in April...no plans yet!
I would LOVE to go there!!! How fun!!
Wow, that looks like a fun mall! Glad you were able to spend some time with your girls :0)

My daughter and her boyfriend took us there when we visited them in Minneapolis a year and a half ago. That place was awesome! They took my son when he visited them last March. He and his sis rode the roller coaster together and had a great time. I'd love to have something like that within a couple hour's drive!
That looks like so much fun.
I've never been there, but I've heard it's wonderful! Lucky you -- so glad you got that break with your family!
Wish I could take my family to that mall; also wish I could have a free shopping spree!! LOL
Oh, yeah! I have even been to the Mall of America.
What an experience!
The kids were little and were kept amused playing in the play area.
