I want to thank everyone who has expressed concern and offered prayers for those afftected by the flood waters. Here, in Aberdeen, it has been cold and that has helped. The creek is still contained by the dike and homes are still safe. In Fargo, classes at NDSU have been canceled for another week. I visited with a good friend who's sister and mom are staying with her as they have been evacuated from their homes. Lotsof people have been

We are all in the mood for spring. This weekend I brought out these delicious cotton yarns to crochet some washcloths...Don't these colors just make you happy?!
MY STEWING TODAY
I made Breakfast Pizza...
INGREDIENTS:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 cup frozen hash brown potatoes
Green Pepper, diced
Onion, minced
4 eggs
1/3 cup milk
8 slices bacon, cooked & cut into 1-inch pieces
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper, if desired
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray pizza pan with cooking spray.
2.Unroll dough into pan; press in bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust; press perforations to seal.
3.Bake 5 minutes.
4.In medium bowl, beat eggs. Stir in milk.
5.Remove partially baked crust from oven. Distribute potatoes, bacon, peppers, onion and cheese evenly over crust. Sprinkle the parsley over top. Pour egg milk mixture over top.
6. Return to oven; bake 20 to 25 minutes longer or until set and edges are golden brown. Cut into wedges.

Yes the washcloths are pretty... It was nice enough to run outside today again, a little wet though. However, I think we're probably going to get more snow this week too... when will it ever stop? And yes I'm kinda concerned about the no classes, I realize people have a lot to deal with right now but how can we possibly finish the semester after 3 weeks off? Yikes. How did the breakfast pizza turnout?
The breakfast pizza looks yummy! I love your washcloths. I have been going crazy on those right now, everyone in my family has them and I am finally stockpiling them. Can't get enough of that cotton yarn. Stay dry!

I love the washcloths!!! Do you use them only in the kitchen or for the bath, as well? My bath washcloths are pitiful and need replaced, so I was curious. I have someone waiting to teach me how to knit. :o)
As for your weather....Please don't let it come my way!! We just got 8" of snow Saturday. I don't want more!!
I love those cloths. That is the only kind I use for doing my dishes. Yes, I do dishes the old fashioned way, by hand.
Sorry about your weather. They were predicting that snow here, too, but they took it out of our forecast this morning. It is staying north of us.....I hope.
I've always loved those little wash cloths but never knew how to make them. The weather seems perfect for sitting inside and working on those anyway. I wish you warmth! I couldn't imagine that kind of weather for my lifestyle! I need heat!!

Those washcloths are beautiful and, oddly, they match the colors in the weather map down below. Looks like a wonderful "pizza." That weather map give one reason to pause, doesn't it. Ugh. Our prayers are with you.

Oh My! I'm so glad that spring has sprung here and we aren't having any more snow...well hopefully as it has snowed here in April before.
The flooding looks bad in Fargo and coupled with the now freezing/snowy weather, I'm sure it's only making things more miserable. I'll be thinking good thoughts for those affected hoping for their houses and possessions to be spared and that they will be able to return to their life as they knew it.
I love the bright colors too. Oh and the breakfast pizza looks yummy!

More Snow...you guys really do have winter don't you? Our weatherman thought we would be snow free for the month of March, the first time since 1903, but the ground was white this morning. I would still trade weather with you. Love you wash cloths. Wish I could do that. Do you put them in your Etsy Shop?
