TGIF and Where the Week Went...

This was a five day week...and it was five very full days!
I start my day with our Fitness for Life Class...
I enjoy those students sooo much.
Protein and Breakfast Burritos were in the lesson plan...

My afternoon classes = Personal Development.
Our School Resource Officer spends time with us to address student concerns...
to demonstrate the tazer...

and to take us through a mock traffic stop,
complete with field sobriety tests.

Plus...
we are so lucky to have Prevention Specialists on our staff
to lead discussions with our students about drugs and alcohol.

And in the evenings?
I continue to sew Infinity Scarves
as they have been very popular this fall and winter.

I am having a serious DeStash in my Studio...
organizing and listing items in my Notions Etsy Shoppe.

A social life, you ask??
Remember, my hubby play in a band...
Happy Hour Jazz on Tuesday!

Plus...it was Patty's Birthday...
Time to Celebrate!

But... I ended my week with a major downer...
Can you guess where I am?

Here's a better clue...

Yup.

Remember, I needed two crowns...

You know it's going to be a long appointment when your dentist gives you the remote for the TV...

I was there for four hours.
I'm not sure what hurt the most...
Getting the work done,
or
Paying the Bill?

TGIF, everyone...
Take care,
~Natalie

What an interesting post today, Natalie! I know what you mean about the week just flying by! Gosh, it seems like the days go faster and faster as I "mature".

I think your jazz night sounds like fun, and I'm going to try those breakfast burritos, too!

Happy Weekend, my friend.

I find it unnerving that the month of January is almost over and I don't know how I missed it.
Is it because we're getting older or that we have so much to do and think about that times flies?

Nat,
Time sure flies by so quickly, the older I get! Sorry to hear about the crowns and the bill. Have a great day.

Tasers and dental work? Ohhh..both sound so painful. And I know what both feel like, too. Had a root canal last month (and my bill hurt more than the treatment) and I was shot with a taser....hmmph you say? Well, in order to use one, we had to take it to see how it felt. Oh great fun. ha.

Sounds like you had some fun in the midst of the other parts of your week. The band must be tons of fun to relax and listen to.

Cheers,
Becky

Sounded like a great week until you got to the dentist part! They sure do fly by though!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Looks like you had a fun week with the band and cooking. I am so jealous that our kids here in CA do not get the life essentials that you teach!

As for the dentist...uh! So sorry! As I said before...my dental is awesome...it's the optical that costs the big $$.

Happy Weekend :)

Wow what a week! I hear you on the crowns. I get one each year. My enamel was so bad as a child my teeth just didn't hold up. The visit is so long. I told him once he may as well give me a blanket and I would see him in the morning....LOL But I am very happy to have them and not dentures. Hope next week is better. Kit
