Visiting Okinawa ~Sunday Funday ~Time with Family ~A Trip to the Beach ~A Gourmet Dinner at Home

It was a beautiful morning.
We all put on our beach duds
and loaded up the car.

Since we were there early, before most of the others,
we found the perfect spot to “build our nest”.
Then we headed over the rocks and seaweed to the water.

The water was clear, cool, and refreshing.

Mama and Jack went all the way in.
Nana waded along the edge of the water.
“Jack, let’s wave to Nana.”

“Hi, Nana”

There’s a restaurant with a great view here.
And sailboats...that’s where Sophie’s mom
works as an instructor.

Mama rented a paddle board and went out on the water.
Jack and Nana stayed in their “nest” and ate snacks.

Jack feel asleep in his car seat on the way home...
it must have been the water, sand, and sun.
He was so tired that he didn’t even wake up
when mama changed him out of his swim diaper.

That afternoon,
Mama made a pan of homemade Eggplant Parmesan...
with homemade Marinara Sauce for our dinner.

It looked and smelled so good.
We wanted to eat..it..right..now.

It was hot from the oven, so we had to be patient.

Finally, Mama was ready to serve.
We also ate pasta and salad.
It was a special Sunday Night dinner.

And a relaxing end to the weekend...
sitting out on the front porch with Bella.

We are blessed.
Take care,
~Natalie
