Every day is not a Beach Day.
Remember, we are on a tropical island,
and it is now officially the rainy season.
We might have a rainy day,
and then several sunny days in a row.
Sometimes the weather app
is completely wrong!
What does one do on a rainy day?
Well, go to the Mall, of course!
Like most homes and businesses in Okinawa,
there are Shisa Dogs at the entrance
to ward off evil spirits.
Just inside the entrance, this fabulous little aquarium.
It fun to watch the colorful fish...
they swim so fast.
Hey, Mama, did you see the size of that blue fish?
The Mall has lots to offer...many stores...
...rides on the escalator...
...and delicious sweet snacks!
This store was crazy busy.
There was not enough room for Nana and the stroller.
So we waited just outside
while Jack tried on some shoes for size.
Jack is a lucky boy!
Let’s go to the Mall again, the next time it rains!
