Monday Mail Call ~Much Miscellaneous ~Quarantine ~FaceTime Makes our Day ~Out with the Old, in with the New

A package came in my name. It was from my friend, Debra.
It was not my Birthday…it was Hers!
You’ll have to keep scrolling
to see what was inside that pretty paper.

It was five weeks ago, Hubby woke up with some Congestion…
like a Sinus Infection or a Bad Cold.
Since we had plans to go out of town to visit friends,
we thought he should get tested.
Yep, sure enough, he tested positive for Covid.
Being Postitive isn’t necessarily a good thing.

So we both stayed home for two weeks, thankful for friends who
dropped off necessary supplies,
and the phone calls/on-line greetings from our family.

During Quarantine, it was a good opportunity
for some online shopping. We seriously needed a new toaster,
I had told Santa that it was on our Wish List.
However, we could not wait…
the old one was becoming a fire hazard, so Amazon delivered.

Hubby’s Covid Case was mild, thanks to the vaccine.
He was able to go outside to take care of the accumulation of leaves.
Which, as you all know, is an everyday occurrence.

Our Lizzie provided plenty of support
and entertainment while staying home all day.

Once we received clearance from the State Health Department,
our first outing was to our favorite Dive Bar for a
good old fashioned Burger on the Grill.

Sometimes the place is packed, with standing room only,
and sometimes we have the place to ourselves.

This past weekend we enjoyed dinner with our friends
in the Old Historic Ward Hotel. I’ve always loved that place.
Emily and Jake had their rehearsal dinner there,
in the Tuscany Room.

The best place to get a bunch of cut flowers is Walmart.
They cost less than five dollars a bundle,
and last for nearly ten days.

Yesterday’s FaceTime with Henry…He was so proud,
showing off his new skill of standing on his own.

Big Brother was in school, so we hope to chat with him later.

And here’s what was in that package…
Two seasonal kitchen towels.
Something that we can never have enough of!

And a cute little zip-up pouch.
It will be Purrfect for our Holiday Travels.
Thank you, Debra.

Take care,
~Natalie
