I’m loving all the First Day of School photos on my Newsfeed.
Here’s mine, starting my seventh year of retirement
with an extra cup of coffee.
And this little girl was ready for her first day at Preschool.
New shoes, backpack packed with essentials, comfy outfit, hair done…
Toddler Room, Here I Come!
Like so many others in our community,
we spent a little time at the Brown County Fair.
We had a some lunch while listening to the Entertainment.
We visited the sleepy pigs and the sheep that were
being groomed for their showing.
The cows and goats were chillin’ in front of huge fans.
But the chickens were my favorite critters there.
Check out that hairdo…definitely groomed for the Big Show.
This handsome guy was in the mood for chatting.
These these guys were a little feisty…
Engaging in a little squabble between their cages.
We enjoyed Pizza Friday…
It had been a while since we prepared homemade pizza.
Remember, we did that every Friday Night during the Pandemic.
The highlight in our Kitchen was a gift of fresh Garden Tomatoes.
Thank you for sharing them, Wendy.
Roasting tomatoes is easy, as you just need Olive Oil,
Garlic, fresh Herbs, Salt & Pepper.
I turned them over halfway through,
and when they were cool enough to handle,
that skin just lifted off the top.
After a few minutes in the blender,
I finished the soup with some cream and fresh basil.
I may never serve Tomato Soup from a can again.
So are you still thinking about our youngest grandchild ready to start school?
Yeah, me too. She was just a baby when we saw her last.
Sending Best Wishes across the miles to
Jack, Henry, and Joelle for a great School Year.
Take care,
~Natalie
