Two weeks ago, Hubby had a heart attack,
and the Quadruple Bypass a couple of days later.
No one expects this.
And I’m not going to lie, it’s a little scary.
This photo was taken a few years ago, enjoying the comforts of home…
sitting in his ManCave, with our Lizzie, enjoying one of his Home Brews.
Along with brewing his own, we do enjoy a Brewery Tour.
Together, we have visited a dozen different breweries.
Our most recent one was here at Leinenkugels.
It’s also a treat to taste the variety of beers at the end.
My favorite was the Boulevard Tour that
featured a Food Pairing...
Small plates from some of Kansas City’s local chefs.
Golf is another favorite pastime for Scott.
Most of you know you can find him out
on the course two or three times a week in the summer.
His goal is to be there again next spring.
Then there’s the wood turning…
if he’s not on the golf course, I can find him out in his woodshop.
We have had to withdraw our application to participate
in the Handmade Market this year.
We’re going to miss going to Football games in the Fargo Dome.
We enjoy tailgating with our college friends,
and the excitement of just being there.
So the next best thing is “Homegating” to cheer for the Bison.
Let me know if you have any
Heart Healthy recipes for Game Day Food.
Many of you would consider this work,
but Hubby truly likes working in the yard.
We have awesome neighbors that are helping us out.
Thank you ☺️
Our greatest Joy comes from traveling to spend time with family.
Our daughters, sons-in-law, and the grandchildren.
Recovery from Open Heart Surgery is tough, it’s long, it’s slow.
But with Papa’s Patience and Persistence,
He’ll be back doing all these things that he loves.
Take care,
~Natalie
