We are looking forward to having college kids here again. Amy's room...which will be Jake's room for the next couple of weeks...is now a CAT-FREE ZONE. Everything in there has been dusted, vacummed, washed or fluffed in the dryer. The room is ready and the door is closed. I still suggest that Jake has plenty of allergy medications with him!
Emily's room, on the other hand, is far from cat free...

Oh love me some kitties! :-) MY DH is allergic so I can't get another.
Yeah!! Lock them out of Jake's room and into mine! Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
Cat free zone? I'm not understanding. HAHAHAHA If your kitties are like mine, a closed door and what's behind it is so much more interesting! LOL
I'm allergic to cats, too, but not terribly so. I can do okay having a cat living in the house with me, but I can't hold her. I sure know if she's been piled up in my chair in the night, too. When I sit in it, my eyes begin to burn, my nose begins to itch, and my throat feels awful. You're very thoughtful to de-kitty the room for Jake. :-)
I am going to have to do a cat free zone in July for one of S2's friends. The doctor is putting her on steroids for the visit as a precaution.
