Those Were the Days

Most of you know that I spent the month of July cleaning the attic, the garage, and Amy's room in preparation for our foreign exchange student...And on many days I had a wonderful trip down memory lane. I found sooo many goodies!
This was taken in about 1993...we had been on a family trip to Yellowstone (that explains Amy's shirt...but Emily's shirt? Barney??) And my haircut? Hubby's?? And the socks...I notice that Emily and Dad wear socks...Mom and Amy, do not...who else remembers the early 90's? Was it socks...or No Socks??

Oh, wow Natalie...that was such a long time ago! It doesn't hardly seem like it could be, but it was. I think I wore socks. If I remember correctly, those were the years when I wore the big cuffed shorts from Lands' End with the matching striped tshirt and matching socks. Ick! Why didn't someone tell me I looked bad??

What a great photo and I'm not sure about the socks. I'm a barefoot kind of girl myself! :)

Socks and I am pretty sure I was still rolling ( pegging ) my jeans and slouching or scrunching my socks. What a fashionable era that was! Have a great day and God bless, Jamie

I wore the tall socks and then scrunched them down!!! Oh, not a good decade for fashion for sure!

Hey, Natalie!
I thought I'd check out your blog, which I haven't for a long time. How fun to see the photo of your family taken in our driveway in Chadron! I, too, was walking down memory lane as I re-did a photo collage. Those were the days...didn't they slip by fast! Teaching in North Platte has been a good change. The girls are at opposite ends of the country. I miss them so. Maybe you'll have to email me to update me on all that's going on with you! :)
