Spring Break Road Trip ~The Burger Bus ~Out and About in the Neighborhood ~Family Time ~Priceless Time

That’s right, we ate lunch in a bus.

It is a 1948 Trolley Bus from Atlanta.
The owners found it in a junkyard, restored it,
and opened the Burger Bus in 2015.

It appears that every other bus seat has been turned around
to create a cozy booth for the hungry patrons.

Here’s more of that history…

And the menu is displayed on a vintage drive-through sign.
There’s something for everyone’s taste buds.
Of course, I could not go home without
trying the Fried Green Tomatoes.

There’s plenty of seating…across from the row of booths,
there’s a counter under the bus windows with vintage diner style stools.
The back of the bus features a larger area for larger groups.

Here’s our family when they visited a few weeks ago.
Just imagine how excited Jack was to find out
that they were actually eating in a bus.
He is fascinated with all things on wheels…
Typical four year old boy.

Check it out online…and make plans to stop
if you find yourself traveling in that Neck of the Woods.
There are plenty of charming boutiques along Main Street
if you need to walk off your Burger and Fries.

The Burger Bus in Ball Ground, Georgia…
Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Take care,
~Natalie
