These Retired Empty Nesters made the two hour trip
to meet our friends when they finished their work week.
First on the Itinerary was a tour of their new home.
Then our host and hostess took us out for a lovely dinner…
And a most impressive tour of the recently opened
VCSU Campus Center for the Arts.
The Recording and Production Studios…
Yes, that’s plural. More than one State of the Art Studio…
All with the latest Technology.
Our friend is the University President and is credited with
obtaining the financing and the planning for this beautiful facility.
There are Labs for all the Fine Arts.
Ceramics, Digital Design, Woodworking…
Keyboarding, and so much more.
Here is their amazing 350 seat Performance Hall.
I cannot find the words to describe the acoustics in there.
After a Driving Tour around Town, we stopped
at their Local Brewery…
Where our husbands were summoned to sing Karaoke.
The acoustics here were sufficient…and of course, they stole the show.
They met when they were both Music Majors in College.
We all admitted that we up later than we usually are,
however we got up and out early for our trip into the cities.
Our first stop was to leave Rudy at the Doggie Hotel.
I think he was excited to spend the weekend with his Canine Friends.
Always look out for your Furry Friends.
