What Happened to Last Week ~Highlight of the Week ~International Cat Day ~Crazy Cat Lady ~When Rosie Came to Visit ~Our Lizzie

Last week we all celebrated #International Cat Day.
(The rest of the week was like all the others)
Of course, Lizzie got extra special treatment on that occasion.

I’ve been a Crazy Cat Lady all of my Life.
This is Salt and Pepper.

This Spring, when staying with Family,
I had the privilege of meeting Rosie.

Rosie lives across the street, and on this day she came
to say Hi when Henry and I were playing outside.

She makes her rounds between home and two other neighbors.

She even let us rub her tummy.
You all know what that means.

Then, when she had enough lovin’
she jumped the fence and was on her way.

Hubby was back home taking care of Lizzie.
She was a young kitty when she moved into our home and our hearts.
I purchased this hut for her, and was a top-notch investment.

She took ownership of the hut, even before the tags were off.

She has spent hours playing in, around, and on top of her hut.

We humans pile her toys on top of the hut
and she quickly cleans it off.

Usually, with much enthusiasm.

She does have a serious side, too.
Like when Hubby worked from home during the pandemic.

She oversees what’s happening out on the patio…

…and keeps watch over our front yard
from her perch in my Sewing Studio.

She is a good helper cat when
I’m doing my everyday house chores.

She is not intimidated by Mr. Roomba,
like the last Scaredy-Cat we had.

In fact, Mr. Roomba has to go around Lizzie.

She serves as my Personal Trainer…

…encouraging me on my morning treadmill walk.

Lizzie cheers for the Bison with us
out in the ManCave

She participates with us in our Holiday Traditions…

And enjoys playing Yahtzee on game night.

Lizzie is a good helper cat when
we are creating items for Winterfest.

Although, a good old fashioned cat nap is often her priority.

Cat Treats are served on her own special plate,
thanks to Debra & Brian.

This is the sixth cat that Hubby and I have loved
during our four decades of marriage.
She is a faithful furry friend.

Take care,
~Natalie
