Monday Memory ~The Journey to Meet our Grandson ~Another Highlight of my Trip to Okinawa

This was my second to last day in Okinawa,
visiting our grandson, daughter, and her hubby.
It was sunny and humid, with a slight island breeze.

Amy, Jack, and I ventured off base for lunch.

Jack’s daddy was away on an assignment, so sending a photo to him was a must.

What is it about baby toes that are so darn cute?!

Amy found this little place, the Hale Noa Cafe.

Check out the clever napkin holder!

We were seated at a cute little table for two.

After his short photo session, Jack was ready for a nap under his muslin.

Our lunch was delicious and it all happened right here in this little kitchen.

After a quick drive and finding a new place to park,

We enjoyed some time on the Araha Beach...

...along with many other beach enthusiasts!

Notice the sign “No Swimming Area — Dangerous Jellyfish”
Now, look out in the water. Ha

While I was enjoying the sun and the sand,
Jack finished his bottle in the shady picnic shelter.

I like to imagine that Jack is giving his Nana a hug here...

Such a sweet baby boy!

Home again, Home again, Jiggety Jog.
There’s nothing like taking a nap with your very own Jelly Cat.

Thank you for the wonderful afternoon.

Take care,
~Natalie
