Spending Time with Family ~Weekend Road Trip to NYC ~More Highlights ~Broadway Show ~Lady Liberty

Saturday Night in the City.
Jack, Henry, and their Daddy got settled into our Airbnb for the night,
while Mama and Gigi went to a Broadway Show!
It was just incredible…
another Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience for me.

“Come From Away”
This is the set.
Taking photos is not allowed during the performance,
So I found these two on their website.

It is a remarkable true story of 9/11 and
several of the days that followed.

It is humorous…it is sad…it is heartwarming.
I am so glad we were able to get tickets.

After the show, we made our way home through Times Square…
so many people, so much to look at!

Thanks to Amy, we found our ride.

The next morning we woke to bright, beautiful sunshine.
Astoria Park was within walking distance of our Airbnb.
It had a perfect playground
for the children to run off some energy.

A blend of nature and a view of the City’s Skyline.
However, we couldn’t stay and play long,
as we had plans to “go on a boat ride”

Pier 16 is where we boarded the Ferry
to ride out to the Statue of Liberty.

Jack kept saying,
“This..is..Amazing”
And I couldn’t agree more.

Everyone aboard the Ferry was given the opportunity
to have their photo take with Lady Liberty.

She is truly a majestic sight.

Our return route took us past Ellis Island and Governors Island.
Notice the three bridges?
The Brooklyn Bridge
The Manhattan Bridge
The Williamsburg Bridge

It was time for Henry’s nap
Here’s Mama encouraging him to sleep,
but not before he said farewell to Lady Liberty.

It was also time to find some lunch.
Stop back to see how we spent our afternoon.

Take care,
~Natalie
